Samanthas room IS coming along though, and the final post will be posted hopefully, by next week. Project number 3 is done, but I had nothing to do with it... I also do not have pictures of the project being done, but it should be pretty easy to throw something together... My mom did this one for me, and I absolutely love it. I will try to post about it tomorrow maybe.
As for Samantha, she is doing great. Getting big and sooo smart. She has known all her body parts for a while now, but everytime I try to catch it on video, she clams up. Looks like I have a camera shy little one. Uh-oh! Oh well. Maybe in time, she will lighten up and adjust to a camera being in her face so often! It's really cute though, when you ask her where her tongue is, she sticks out her tongue as far as she can and looks at you like "How can you forget mom? You ask me everyday!" It really is adorable. She can very accurately show off her head, hair (and although those are the same, they are not to her), eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, hands, fingers, shoulders, belly button, tummy, knees, feet, and toes. Hmm.... am I missing anything? She is a smart cookie!
Just earlier this week, she was outside in the backyard with grandma. I went to find her outside, squatting right in front of grandmas garden. Grandma was IN the garden, picking her fresh blueberries. They then walked over to the hose together to rinse off her newly found obsession, and she ate it in record time. She then TOOK OFF back towards the blueberry plants, and stopped about 2 feet away, where she immediately squatted back down into position to wait for grandma to get her another one. After that, we went back in the house, where we found her some blueberries that were already in the fridge. It seems that my little blueberry lover has eaten all of the ripe blueberries off of grandmas plants. But don't worry, once she figures out she's not going to get any more blueberries, she heads straight over to the strawberry patch. She really IS a smart cookie.
She tries so hard to so things on her own now. It really is very cute. She wants to put her "baby" in her stroller and walk her baby through the living room and into the kitchen. But lo and be hold, there is a GATE in the way. But that doesn't stop her. She just sits there and keeps pushing it, and whining at us until we move it for her. She really is, toooo cute!
Anyways, there's my update for now. More later, I promise :-)
