I spent the better part of a month looking for holiday cards last year. I could not find anything I liked. I tried my hand at designing my own – big FAIL! Then a friend told me about Shutterfly. I went to the website and was shocked! There were so many cute cards, that I had a hard time picking just one! Not only were the designs adorable, but the cards were a great quality and the colors looked gorgeous!
So now it’s time to start choosing this years card. Of course, Shutterfly was my first choice, and like last year, I am having a hard time choosing just one design. So, I figured I could post some options here and let you help me decide!

You might remember the first post about our vacation. If not, you can read it here. There wasn’t too much posted other than a select few pictures. But I’m finally ready to share some more pictures with you!
You saw our trip to Hollywood and our day at the beach. What you didn’t get to see was Sea World! And the sunset in the mountains! So here are some more pictures! I hope you enjoy!

Aren’t they gorgeous?! I know the ones of us as a family came out a little dark and blurry… but they’re the best we’ve got!
Now on to Sea World!!! We had a blast! Samantha didn’t really get to nap at all that day, and she was tired and cranky, but she did great in spite of everything!

So here are the pictures from Saturday. I don’t have many… taking a 1 year old trick-or-treating at the mall is hard to do while taking pictures! But my mom got a couple.

Here is my promised post. Yeah, yeah, I know… almost a week later! Well… I’ve been a busy lady. Work is keeping me beyond occupied, so that means less blogging time. Which is a real stinker, because I haven’t had the time to participate in any blog hops lately. And with my giveaway ending just around the corner, I need some more participants! So… now that I have that part taken care of… here are the pictures promised!
We carved a pumpkin! I really wanted to let her finger paint it, since I thought she would enjoy that more, but I couldn’t find finger paint at Walmart, and I didn’t feel like driving around all over the place to get some. She had a good time anyways, and seeing her face when she saw it all lit up was beyond worth it!
She was hesitant about sticking her fingers in there at first, but eventually she was very excited to pull out the yucky insides and throw it in the garbage!

And you can’t finish cleaning out a pumpkin without kissing it, right? umm… well… that’s how she feels I guess!
And then we inspect it to make sure everything is all cleaned out.
Yup! It’s clean! Mommy draws the face… and then cleans it off and draws another one. Then daddy gets to carve it!
and here is the finished product. Not perfect, but pretty darn good for drawing a face freehand. I’m no artist people!
